Campus Ministry Honor Roll badge

Temple University is not a Catholic college. This rating measures Catholic life on campus: campus ministry, priests, Mass and confession, student groups, and nearby parishes.

The Temple Newman Center, at 2129 N. Broad St. across the street from Temple's White Hall residence hall, serves Temple students; its director is Fr. Matthew Biedrzycki, pastor of St. Malachy Parish, and four FOCUS missionaries serve there. Its second-floor chapel has Mass every weekday and at noon on Sunday, with adoration and confession on weekdays, including all-day adoration on Thursdays; the center points students to Sunday Masses at 10 AM and 7 PM at St. Malachy Church. Students are offered a student executive board, a choir, Christian Initiation classes, weekly SPAG dinners, retreats, a SEEK 2027 trip, and service at Jesus Runs, St. Malachy's food pantry, and Blessed Sarnelli House.
